I just want to give an update of my new items on etsy.. and this is on sale!!!
I named this necklace "Afreen" which means Encouragement in Indian/Sanskrit language. I choose this word because I love the meanings. I found a rustic heart and an angel pendant that so encouraging me to keep believing that an angel will always be in my heart and help me through a difficult time in my life. Indian culture also influence me in making this necklace. Actually I was inspired by the dream catcher necklace made by Indians.
and this is Paramita, in Indian it means "Wisdom". this necklace also inspired by the dream catcher necklace. i add a rustic flower with a white bead in the middle.
That's all sneak peek from my new items. more items is coming up soon....
have a good day everyone..

Secret temple
Do you ever have the feeling when you find a place which is so dream like? We found it yesterday, It is a temple.. small temple with a Buddha statue in the center where people can pray or meditating. The place is so quiet and relaxing at the same time. it is surrounded by the lake which is full of water lily and wild flower. Just like a dream right??
can you see the sun shine through the leaves from the trees??
I don't know what it means
The beautiful flower surrounded the temple
The Budha statue looks so beautiful
Inside the temple
Another budha statue
And do you know what makes me love this place more and more? because there are so many wild flowers in this place.
and this is us enjoying the peaceful....

Dream catcher necklace
I always have a big passion to learn about Indian culture. Their way of life, philosophy, and culture is very unique and interested to learn. I love their handmade arts and paintings which always have a great meaning or a philosophy. So you are not just making things but there is a history behind every arts they make.
recently I learn to make a dream catcher necklace which is a handmade object based on a willow hoop, on which is woven a loose net or web. The dreamcatcher is then decorated with personal and sacred items such as feathers and beads. (based on wikipedia)
According to Native Americans, dreams that humans have while they sleep, are sent by sacred spirits as messages. According to their Legend, in the center of the Dream Catcher there is a hole. Good dreams are permitted to reach the sleeper through this hole in the web. As for the bad dreams, the web traps them and they disappear at dawn with the first light. For some, they try to determine what messages are being past onto them and what the message represents.
The Dream Catcher represents several meanings. All of the deborations and materials used to decorate them, all have a special meaning. A single bead in the middle may represent the spider that is on the web. Scattered beads throughout the web may represent good dreams that may have been caught throughout the night. A feather represents a symbol of breath or air which is attached so it hangs from the center of the ring. It is essential for life. A baby watching the air playing with the feather on her cradleboard was entertained while also being given a lesson on the importance of good air. (http://www.thewolfsdencreations.com) Today some artisan jewelry (including me) modify the dream catcher necklace into something more casual and fashionable:

Bohemian holiday
dear all....
finally It's holiday in Indonesia because we have Ramadhan and for some of us it means time for going crazy. For me, nothing better than to stay at home at holiday. some people don't get it and keep asking me what is my plan for holiday. I said I want nothing except stay at my cozy home, making jewelry, read novel, listen to my music, and watching movie. This is a perfect holiday for me. I don't want to go to anywhere since the traffic is horrible because everybody want to go out... and that's not holiday!!!
Sometimes I like a quiet beach and you can't have it on holiday, so I will go when nobody realize it. If I stay on the beach I would totally enjoy the sand, the water, and the sun (but not too much coz I'm allergic to the sun). we will be picnic on the beach and it will be a bohemian picnic for sure. And we will stay there all day. it is something that you can't do if the beach is full of people.
here are some ideas for a bohemian picnic that can be an inspiration for you.
We also can have a picnic in a quiet park or lake.
have a great holiday everyone!!

Here comes August
Hi there,
here comes august. Time goes so fast, in the next 5 months we will face 2013. just keep the spirit and keep creative.
Sitting in my backyard and a cup of tea I feel so peaceful and thank God for everything. Having a good times with family, lover, and doing what we love is something that money can't buy.
Have a good day everyone.. :)
